I-
Objectives:
At the end of
the lesson, the children are expected to;
> identify the pictures with
corresponding color
> sing the songs; “What can we
do today” and “Colors”
> correctly name the fruits/vegetables and their colors
II-
Subject Matter: Learning about
Colors

Materials;
>Colored
materials
>Printed
pictures of things which represent the different colors
>Hard copies
of the lyrics of the songs
>Real fruits
to represent each color
IV-
Procedure:
Teacher’s activity:
>The teacher
plays the song/presentation of the song “What can we do today?”
*The lyrics of the song is available both in computer
and paper posted on board.
(The teacher enthusiastically
sings and makes actions of the song and the children repeat after the teacher)
*The teacher should make sure everyone
in the class is involved in the activity.
>The teacher
introduces the lesson to the children; she posts the pictures with different
colors on the board.
>The teacher
makes the children familiar with the colors and names of the pictures through
“Paste me” activity. She makes sure the children are interested and are willing
to do the next activity.
>After making
sure, the children are able to identify the pictures and colors, she introduces
the second song shortly.
>Next, she
plays the song “COLORS” and making the children sing with her as she points
every picture that corresponds to the color mentioned in the song.
>Lastly, she
presents several fruits on the table and she lets each child pick the color on
the board and takes in the correct fruit that represents that particular color.
>The child
takes in the fruit as his/her price!
*The teacher gives extra
star for each correct answer.
