(Students’ Activity)
Great morning class! So how are you
doing?
We are fine ma’am
Nice to hear that class, we have new
lesson. This has something to do with Sacrificing.
Did you ever sacrifice in your life?
Yes ma’am
Would you mind sharing your experiences?
(Student shares experiences)
Thank you class. You gave me precise
justifications of how sacrifice should be. This time let us see how the
writer conceives “sacrifice”
B. Post Reading Activity
(eager to start)
Anyone who would like to read?
Ma’am
(the student starts reading)
Thank you Jane, did you understand class?
Yes ma’am
Great! Now tell me how do you mean when
we say, “ultimate sacrifice”?
Ma’am
Yes Sarah.
Ultimate sacrifice is being selfless.
Wow, it’s short however it’s deep. Would
you mind to extend your answer?
Ultimate because it’s the best yet it is
the hardest thing a person could do for someone being moved by the power of
love.
Very good. You had given us a thorough
and intellectual answer. Is there anyone who has another answer? Yes Cathy?
When we say “Ultimate” we conclude that
it is vital however, when we say “sacrifice” is giving up for the benefit of
someone you love.
Nice answer Cathy. Your definition of
Ultimate Sacrifice is synonymous to Sarah’s definition. Agree class?
Yes ma’am
Class do you agree with your classmates?
Yes ma’am
Yes you certainly should because when we
say “Ultimate Sacrifice, we mean to say Love” You can never sacrifice without
loving. Understood?
Yes ma’am
Tell me why do you think is the reason
the story is entitled “Ultimate Sacrifice”
Ma’am
Yes Jason?
The story was entitled “Ultimate
Sacrifice” because Linda has loved.
Very good, you are now using the concepts
you learned. Is there anyone who has another answer? Yes Bert?
“Ultimate Sacrifice” because if we are to
analyse the situation we can conclude that Linda understand what her life was
meant for.
Thank you Bert, but how did you say so?
Linda in the story took her every chance
of making her life worth. We could remember the way she used her talent
before she dies, she’s hopeless but she remained faithful to God.
Very nice Bert. He has very good points.
Anyone who would like to extend his answers? Yes John?
Ma’am Bert says that Linda was faithful
to God. I agree with him although this was not mentioned in the story. We can
only conclude it since Linda knew that there are people who need it more than
she does.
Very good John. What did Linda give? Yes Tommy?
She gave her eyes ma’am
Good, what about given the chance to
donate a part of your body, what would you give? Why? Yes Marian?
(the students start answering)
Very well said Marian. Let us give a
round of applause to your classmates.
C. After Reading Activity
Thank you, now we have an activity. This
is called, “Connect to its Best . Are you ready?
Yes ma’am
Please count one to three. Your number
will serve as your group number. Is that ok class?
Yes ma’am (the students start counting)
Ok, may I know the group one? Please stay
in the right side.
What about the group two? Please stay in
the left side.
And group three stay at the middle
please.
(the students follow instructions)
Now, what you are to do is to write your
answer in this paper (teacher distributes the paper) You only have to choose
one and answer. After answering please assign someone to read your answer in
front. Alright?
Yes ma’am
(the teacher starts posting)
1.

2.
“Two Hearts passing in the night
Falling
in Love
Never
able to gain each other’s sight to the theme about LOVE”
(the students start answering)
